Boat Transport Ltd is a company which specializes in moving boats by road throughout the UK, France, Spain, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. .We are a family run business with over 25 years experience of moving all types of yacht and motor boat. It often works out that one of our lorries is working within the UK, whilst the other is going to and fro to one of the European countries. Wherever we are, you can rest assured that your boat will be safe with us, and, we enjoy what we do too!

We have depots in Southampton and Bristol and so are ideally placed for hauling your boat up and down the UK or, of course, moving your boat to-fro across the channel to and from the warmer climates of France, Spain and Portugal.

We have a range of “Boat Transporters” customised to meet your requirements

TRUCKS

We have three modern Mercedes articulated trucks. two are left-hand drive and especially useful for European transports. Each truck is fully equipped with flashing beacons for wide loads and CB FM radios for communicating with Escort Vehicles. We also have a 4x4 Toyota for use as an escort vehicle.

TRAILERS

We have three extending low loader boat trailers on full air suspension and EBS plus a sloper trailer ideal for winching on and off boats on trailers. Each low loader trailer is equipped with eight adjustable chocks for both motor boats and deep keeled yachts.The Sloper Flatbed is equipped with ramps and a winch, which is ideal for both Amphibious craft and boats on UK & American trailers. They all have a complete set of wide load marker boards and flashing beacons.

Three of our trailers extend to accommodate boats up to 14.6m and 20 tonnes. The latest trailer can load at just 20cm off the ground, ideal for "trawler yacht" style boats. With the combination of adjustable air suspension and EBS - a new generation of brakes for quicker braking - we can ensure your boat will have a smooth and safe journey.
